Empower Our Vets is a campaign to promote positive transitions for current and future veterans and their families.  By telling individual stories - stories of success, of overcoming challenges - Empower Our Vets intends to draw attention to the strength and resilience of the men and women of the armed services and offer a path to follow for those who may be facing challenges. 

Veterans often state that they feel ill-prepared by the military for the transition to civilian life, with 49% of respondents to the Veteran Transition Survey saying that their transition was "more difficult than expected." (www.military-transition.org) Couple that with many veteran's desire to connect with other veterans and it seems only natural that veterans are the best people to support and educate one another on what it is that leads to a positive transition.  

Empower Our Vets will share these stories in order to build a roadmap to success for veterans and soon-to-transition service members.  By promoting these messages via social media and video content we hope to positively impact the lives of veterans and their families as the move on to the next phase of their lives.  

Whether it is the stories of female veterans, or of those who have overcome the battle with Post-Traumatic Stress, viewers will be allowed a personal look into the lives of the storyteller and a library of the video content will be created to allow viewers to search and find their specific area of interest.
